Mira + Ben – Cornerstone Gardens, Sonoma

I just love these pictures so much because they remind of what a spectacularly wonderful couple Mira and Ben are and how much I loved working with them! The day was gorgeous, the bride (obviously) looked drop dead beautiful, the groom was calm, happy and handsome, the site (as always!) was perfect and the crowd was so much fun! Love was in the air and everyone could feel it! It was the perfect Sonoma Wine Country Wedding. Mira + Ben held their reception entirely in Cornerstone’s barn which was gorgeous, filled with candlelight and hues of peach and blue, it was the perfect backdrop for the festivities that ensued. Mira hired an amazing belly dancer who really put on a show. Mira even got up and put on a show of her own – the bridesmaids joined her and you could feel the joy in the air. It was so much fun! The crowd filled the dance floor as the night went on; David Carvalho really got the crowd up and moving! Marie and Justin are one of those couples you just know from the moment you meet them, they fit perfectly together. They’re just honestly an amazing match and Kelly & Company was lucky enough to be there on their special day. Marie and Justin chose Garden Pavilion in Sonoma, a rustically charming venue with gorgeous gardens and spectacular spaces. The beautiful bride was looking for a simple, non-traditional garden look that played perfectly with the venue’s charm. You could honestly feel all the love that day – not only between the bride and groom, but amongst the crowd of family and friends. It truly was a beautiful day! Felicia + Brian – Cornerstone Gardens, Vineyard House Elopement

Felicia and Brian are not only the nicest people EVER, but they’re also super fun and funny! When Felicia called to talk with me about her elopement at the Vineyard House, I knew we were meant to be (bride and planner that is!) She’s just adorable – so nice, so funny and so genuinely caring and sweet. I couldn’t help but fall in love with her from the first phone conversation. Then I met Brian…. and found out he likes to sometimes re-inact Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.” Yes. They are a match made in heaven and I could NOT be happier to have met them both. Their intimate wedding took place at Cornerstone Garden’s Vineyard House and it truly turned out spectacular. They created their own photo booth utilizing an awesome vintage camera and fun fabric backgrounds. There was croquet, personalized cupcakes, parasols, oodles of candles and chinese lanterns. an especially touching moment occurred during the bride and groom’s vows… the rings were placed in a beautiful wooden boxed and passed around to each guest during the ceremony to bless the couple and wish them well wishes on their journey as husband and wife. The night was capped off with homemade chocolate chip cookies and mason jars of milk to go all on ice in a galvanized bucket. So cute! Adam + Erica ~ Harvest Inn, St. Helena, CA

Sometimes I meet a couple and I think, “man, these two are perfect for each other. Truly happy and in love.” That is Erica and Adam. I was nervous about the weather forecast… rain. In the days prior, we put together a “rain plan” outlining our options. Erica and Adam were so laid back about it. They just wanted the day to be pretty and left a lot of it up to Kelly & Company, and even with the gloomy clouds, I think the whole event turned out gorgeous! Of course, the amazingly gorgeous venue helped! It was just such a happy day despite the gray clouds, happy bride, happy groom, happy wedding party, happy guests (the fact that the Giants went to the Wold Series that day helped too!) Anyway, I think the pictures prove my point (thanks to Portland Oregon and San Francisco Wedding Photographer, Daniel Stark Photography): raindrops and smiles! Christy & Michael were a DREAM to work with – the epitome of the perfect couple… tremendously happy, incredibly in love and just plain fun to be around!

Christy chose a palette of chartreuse and navy – it looked amazing under the clean white of the tent and the warmth of Cornerstone’s barn which was glowing with candlelight. Touches of wine themed decor payed tribute to Cornerstone Garden’s Sonoma location. Their smiles lasted throughout the day and deep into the night; I was so honored to be there to witness the joy! Tara & Chris were married St. Helena Catholic Church and hosted their reception at gorgeous Harvest Inn in St. Helena, California. It was a spectacular day: perfect weather, lovely details, awesome venue, blissfully happy bride and groom. What a fun crowd! The bride even performed an Irish jig with a guest during the evening. Meagen & Ben ~ Nelson Family Vineyards

I had the pleasure of working with Meagen and Ben planning their wedding at Nelson Family Vineyards in Ukiah, California. The venue was beautiful – sitting in a secluded valley off highway 101, Nelson Family Vineyards feels like an oasis of shadey oak trees peering out onto acres of lush green vineyards. A hot day turning into a spectacular evening; temperatures dropped and made for the perfect “no sweater” evening. Meagen looked absolutely gorgeous in a gown by Amy Kuschel while Ben and his groomsmen wore a casually elegant custom guayaberas. They chose a palette of creamy ivory, cool water blue and soft gold. Rustic touches kept the elegant theme casual: wooden boxes used as vases, ceramic birds appearing throughout the site, jelly jars used as candles holders and wooden signs directing guests. Amidst the rustic was the elegant: fruitwood chiavari chairs, silk and chenille linen from La Tavola Linen, mini wedding cakes from Michelle Marie’s Patisserie, orchids and roses. Yin and Jeff make a not only beautiful couple, but also a sweet, loving, fun couple who are genuinely in love with one another. They were truly a joy to work with! They hosted their wedding at Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma, California and chose a palette of cream and tangy orange. The bride wore sassy orange heels, carried a bouquet incorporating feathers and chose linen for the barn (cocktails and dancing) in an adorable bird theme print.
